Guillermo Coronado Aguilar –bilingual attorney authorized to practice law in México– is associate at Coronado Figueroa y Asociados, S.C., and partner at Companion, firms located in Guadalajara the second largest city. Holds memberships for young practitioners of the leading Arbitral Institutions in the world, one of which was regional representative for Latin America before the Young International Arbitration Group (YIAG) initiative for young arbitration practitioners under 40 by the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA).
His work provides an understanding of how the system works alongside knowledge and skills in the alternatives to litigation, adjudication and arbitration available either international or at a local level. It holds and specialization diploma by the Inter-American Development Bank and ITESM for Public-Private Partnerships, with its main focus on the development of Infrastructure projects in Latin America, working hand on hand with economists and financial experts for their implementation.
Has a relevant academic record including publications in the field of Public-Private Partnerships, particularly the American Bar Association published his report on the new Public-Private Partnerships Law in Mexico and its multi-tier resolution clauses, as well he gave the conference on the same report before the Mexican Bar Association chapter Guadalajara, he was one of the few correspondents of the Global Sales Law Project led by the prestigious University of Basel, was invited as research assistants on site, reporting on Mexican case law and working in the translation process of the book Schletriem/Schwenzer from English to Spanish of the book “Commentary on the UN Convention on the International Sale of Goods”, the contribution extended to the edition process.
